From wireframes to deployment in two weeks: a full website for SmartMatch by Employment Hero, an AI-powered recruitment platform that connects employers with the best-matched candidates. This complex project went through research, design, and implementation in around two weeks.
I created the wireframes, developer-ready high-fidelity design systems, and art directed the imagery (as well as getting into the tools myself). As with many fast-moving SaaS startups, we needed to get an MVP as soon as possible, so it was a full website project with a highly condensed timeline.

Two weeks from brief to deployment
This was a quick turnaround project that needed to be launched 2 weeks from the brief. Employment Hero had a huge SmartMatch campaign (PR, paid search, organic, out-of-home) that needed to direct traffic to the SmartMatch Hub. I needed to juggle multiple stakeholders, as well as get final designs approved and ready for development in record time. The usual timeline for a full website build is at least 6 months.

SEO-optimised, no design compromise
As part of the major PR and marketing campaign, the website required many SEO-optimised content blocks to increase search discoverability. The challenge was to incorporate these without the website feeling spammy and text-heavy. We leveraged the strong Employment Hero brand to achieve this balance, relying on striking imagery to balance the text.

To bring SmartMatch to life on the web, I collaborated with brand designers (whilst being on the tools myself) to art direct the website imagery. The result was a consistent look that simplified and explained the complex machinations of SmartMatch to a new audience.
